Mission: Cleaning Up
Location: Sickbay USS Ermiana

Lieutenant Kotoura stepped into the sickbay. As the only current counselor on board she wanted to meet with the current chief medical officer. Mainly to introduce herself but also to determine how they may work together with potential patients under their care.

She discovered that Doctor Bradford was currently in the medical office. She stood in the open doorway and knocked on the frame. "Excuse me doctor" she said slightly nervous. "Can I have a minute?"

"Sure. What's on your mind?" the Doctor asked.

The young woman stepped in. "I'm Lieutenant Haruka Kotoura sir. I'm at the moment, the only counselor aboard" she explained. "Theres no department head over psychology at the moment, so I'm reporting into you as ordered"

"Understandable, Welcome aboard Lieutenant. I'm Doctor Bradford."

Kotoura nodded. "This is my first space assignment" she said simply. "I've mainly been planet side. Is there any crew that you gave identified that may need an appointment" she asked.

"To be honest, I've only just arrived myself, so I haven't had a chance to meet most of the crew, let alone evaluate them." Avram confessed.

"I see" the young woman replied. "Have you met the captain yet?" She asked. She had yet to meet Captain Misaka and was planning to introduce herself after reporting in with the doctor.

"Yes, we've met. Interesting woman to say the least. I could introduce you if you'd like."

"Interesting? In what way?" Haruka asked. "And.. I'd appreciate that".

"Interesting in a good way." the Doctor admitted.

Haruka smiled. "I suppose that's a good thing then" she replied. She was not one to like scary people. "Is there anything else you may need me for? I've still got to setup the counselling suite, it's all still in boxes and covered by plastic" she explained with a nervous smile.

"Well, need might be a strong word, but seeing as how we're both medical professionals, I might suggest frequent commiseration over a cup of tea, as there are likely to be very few others who would understand our burdens."

Haruka couldn't help but smirk. "I think that's a good idea. After all we are the ones responsible for everyone's health" she replied. "Plus, we work in the same area... I suppose?" She added, although she mainly dealt with mental health the doctor was mostly physical health.

"Let me know what fits into your schedule, when you have one." he said with a light chuckle.

"You'll be the first to know" she replied. She bowed slightly. "If you'll excuse me doctor" she added.

"By all means." Avran replied, "Doctor." he added, with a half salute hand gesture.

Haruka gave the doctor a nod before turning on a heel and heading out of the office.
