The USS Ermiana is ordered to Starbase 375. The ship is tasked with transporting 5000 Photon Torpedoes, 48 Phaser arrays and turrets along with 48 toroedo launchers to Deep Space Nine. Starfleet plan to arm Deep Space Nine in case of a Dominion Attack and the Ermiana is one of the only ships with enough cargo space to safely transport the sheer amount of weapons to the station.

However en route a group of Cardassian ships stop the Ermiana and accuse the ship of transporting these weapons to the Maquis. Captain Misaka and her crew must now find a way to get past the paranoid Cardassians without losing the weapons or setting them off resulting in the destruction of the Ermiana.
