The USS Dragon NCC 42983 is a Ambassador Class Starship built and operated by Starfleet. It is the second ship to bear the name 'Dragon'. Built and launched from the San Francisco Shipyards in 2324, the USS Dragon is currently under command of Captain Kuroko Shirai.

Construction & Launch

The USS Dragon was built at the San Francisco Fleet Yards and launched in 2324. The ship was amongst the first of the Ambassador Class starships to be launched along with the prototype USS Ambassador and USS Enterprise NCC 1701 C. The Dragon was originally tasked with deep space exploration in the Beta Quadrant.
