Looking at the unit was depressing and satisfying at the same time. She did not have the strength to remove the hammer that she replicated she replicated for said purpose of putting the lights out in the unit itself. This aspect of the damage might 'complicate' the explanation of how it is damaged.

She supposed that she might call OPS to get it repaired, though on the last Star Base she served they had become a little annoyed after the half dozen repair requests; only the Counselor telling that there is an Emotional reason for the constant damage. Breeze thought she had gotten past the need to destroy the Replicator after the dreams.

With a sigh she opened a comm channel.

=^= Miss Breeze to OPS, MY replicator is broken, could I have a person to replace it? =^= She called over the channel.

Kromal was busy in Operations conducting some minor troubleshooting repairs on the power relay network toward the waste recycling facilities. It wasn't anything major, in fact it was easy fixes. After he tapped a final wire with his micro-spanner, he heard the call for assistance come in. It was Mrs. Breeze, the Civilian that had taken over the lounge and created a very relaxing atmosphere there. He tapped his combadge after sorting his tools.

=/\= Miss Breeze, this is Lieutenant Ezazzan. I'm heading your way to assist. =/\=

Thinking nothing of it, the Gorn arrived and pressed the door chime to request entry.

Breeze answered the door in a Green sundress with a flared skirt with a hem past her knees with dye shoes to match the color of the dress and hair in a loose ponytail.

[Please come in Mr Ezazzan.] she gesture with her hands to activate her voice as she does regularly in the lounge. [I am sorry to pull you from duties tat are more important. I thank you for your coming so quickly.]

Her cabin was equivalent to a chief's quarters in size but in the Civilian section of the saucer section. it had a few things that made it 'feel more like a home with several oil paintings of landscapes along the walls along with genuine fans hung open and painted with vivid scenes upon them.. Standard furnishings with a rainbow array of throw blankets over the furniture, Earth Arabian style pillows on the sofa and a beautiful rug under the coffee table. A small table closer to a kitchenette in the ear section before going into the bed chamber. End tables with brass lamps having scarves over the shades to add a splash of color to the room.

Along the wall near the kitchenette was the dark section of wall where a Replicator had been installed; this unit had a Hammer driven into it in the center of the control panel.

Kromal blinked between the attire of Breeze and the hammer in the replicator. He admired the woman briefly before clearing his throat.

"There appears to be a hammer in your replicator," the Gorn said, somewhat amusingly. "I do not believe replicators function well with hammers in them."

Without another word he approached it, beginning to offer repairs.

"It was making me ...angry." Her hands a flurry to form the words. "Replicators and I are at... odds. One nearly stave me to death, I only use them because I have to and when they behave." She told the truth, she had very bad experience with one in her past. "Would you blame me if I lose my temper once in a while when it b-bothers me in the n-i-g-h-t? Or wakes me from sleep by burning my eyelids?"

Kromal wasn't one to ever feel uneasy, however the woman talking began to dispel some odd and perhaps disjointed behavior that hid some underlining issues. Issues that, to the Gorns mind, he didn't want any issues with. His tail slid across the floor behind him as he knelt and worked on the replicator. He was silent for a moment.

"And you sure you want this one fixed?" he asked.

"One cannot live without one now of days." She shrugged. "I will just use it for my Art Supplies in the future, that should keep us both behaving we''." Her sign language keeping the audio going. "I am getting used to them; just once in a while I cannot get them to ... work. Lack of my voice and manual operation make them not favored, what they create is needed so Please repair it and I am sorry, I will be more careful, promise."

So that's what the gesticulating all was. Kromal paused, nodding, and then began to proceed to put in some modifications. Normally computers were already equipped to assist the disabled. These ones, however, seemed to lack accessibility settings. The Gorn carefully tuned up the computers perspective of in-room activities so it could monitor for hand signals and sign language. He then fixed the damage. It all took under an hour. When he was done, he stood and patted the replicator.

"I've updated your replicator to accept Sign Language as an input. Now, understand, not every replicator on board will do this, just this one," the Gorn said as he patted it gently. "Should help....alleviate any future .. disagreements? Go ahead, try it out."

Breeze brightened as her smile radiated. It was a miracle, so simple a modification yet never thought to be done.

[You are a genius!] the blur of hand movements gave the added excitement in the voice as would normally be there should she have had speech herself.

Breeze moved next to the unit and with her hands doing the words made her order.

[Breeze Lavender Tea three.] She look with anticipation, tears starting to form as she put her hands over her blushing smile when the unit swirled the light to solidify into a mug of warm tea.

It had worked; she could use a replicator with the same ease as everyone else; at least this one. She would have let out a squeal of delight; she was so hit with joy she wanted to throw her arms around the one who had done this monumental thing for her. Before she realized it she turned to do just that when she realized the Large Gorn might not... do Gorns show appreciation that way? Her own emotional joy had over-ridden her sensing of others; the years of relief hindered her for a second and with arms open and ready to hug she stopped short.

Oops... She projected the sentiment to the Gorn. Wanted to hug our kindness... wide eyed she was caught confused what to do next.

Kromal was understanding to the joy. He offered an arm, then gentle hug, smiling in his own way as he released the professional embrace.

"My mate and younglings do the same," he said, offering sympathy. "I am happy I could help you."

Glancing about, he figured his job was done and giving a nod he looked back to Breeze.

"Anything else you need?" he asked, preparing to leave.

[One huge favor; if not out of way] Her voice started. [Could you program the replicator in Ten Forward with recondition programming; would be a God Send and help me do more about the Lounge.] She reddened. [Just that one also please?]

The Gorn have a smirk. "I'll .... work on that," he said. "I'm sure I won't need to put in a work order for that, considering how easy it was. Yeah, I'll get it done when I can."

[You are a considerate soul.] breeze signed and her lovely voice spoke for her. [May the Fates always bless you favorably.] SHe bow slightly in gratitude.
