First officer's log,

Man, it still feels weird to say that... Anyway, Sanya and I recently made it aboard the Ermiana, where I'm slated to take over as Executive Officer.

I must admit, this command thing is going to take a bit of getting used to. I mean, considering how quickly they made me take the Kobayashi Maru; it was almost as if they had made up their minds that this was my destiny before I had even completed the exam. I don't know; perhaps good command officers are getting harder to come by these days...

Either way, what really matters is that Sanya's here with me. I don't know what I would have done if having her with me wasn't an option.

Anyway, I'll be reporting in to the captain tomorrow, so I think it'd be best if I stop talking and catch the next flight to the land of dreams. I'm sure a drowsy first officer who stayed up all night would be a bad first impression.
